Michael Bailey is a member of the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office. Michael has experience representing emerging and growth stage companies with debt and equity financings and merger and acquisitions transactions.

Michael also advises investors, Fortune 500s and startups on global data privacy and security risks inherent with new technology adoption, implementation and development. Michael also drafts and negotiates specialized agreements enabling domestic and cross-border data transfers.

Michael is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and holds several Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certifications. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Michael served as an active duty officer and paratrooper in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division.
