On Wednesday, June 9, David A. Zetoony, U.S. co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice, will present the WestLawLegal webinar “Tracking Technologies: An Update on the Current State of Law in the U.S. and Europe on Cookies, Pixels, Scripts and Other Ecosystem Changes.”

New laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), and the proposed ePrivacy Regulation, will have a significant impact on online tracking. At the same time online technologies themselves are undergoing significant changes in respond to the deprecation of third-party cookies and platform providers requiring consumer consent. This program provided an update on the current state of the law in the United States and Europe when it comes to the use of cookies, pixels, scripts, and other tracking technologies online.
